HOW CAN YOU BECOME A DRIVING INSTRUCTOR?
DriveFix offers a thorough and adaptable driving instructor education. Having trained around a quarter of all driving instructors on the road in the UK, we have been able to fine-tune our driving teacher course in order to provide the best instruction possible.
To become an approved driving instructor, you must pass three sections of ADI (Approved Driving Instructor) training. At DriveFix, we make certain that you have all of the necessary resources and support at every level of the process to ensure your success.
- Part 1 – To pass the first part of your ADI training, you must pass the theoretical and danger perception tests.
- Part 2 – The next step is to pass a practical driving test and demonstrate to a DVSA assessor a professional level of driving ability.
- Part 3 – Finally, you must pass an hour-long test in which a DVSA examiner observes you delivering a client-centred driving instruction.
As part of the DriveFix driving instructor course, you will be given the opportunity to train on the job, allowing you to gain incredibly useful, real-world experience instructing as a driving instructor while also earning money.
To summarise, becoming a driving instructor can be a rewarding career choice for those who are passionate about driving and helping others learn this essential skill. However, it’s essential to weigh the potential benefits and drawbacks before making a decision. If you’re willing to invest the time and money required to become licensed and can handle the demands of the job, then becoming a driving teacher may be worth it for you.
